Sideman
World renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company make their Irish debut with this
critically hailed production of Sideman by Warren Leight. A hauntingly
beautiful memory play that weaves jazz in and out of the story of a
fractured family Sideman won the Tony Award for Best Play of 1998.
Combining humour and grace with some incredibly beautiful music, the play
traces the lives, through the eyes of their son, of a gifted jazz trumpeter
and his lost and isolated wife.
Steppenwolf's reputation as the premier theatre company in the U.S. is
unchallenged.
"Flawless. Steppenwolf remind us why they are one of the best theatre
companies in the country" Theatre Chicago
