Long Day's Journey Into Night
Coming to Galway direct from its Chicago premiere and starring Tony Award
winner John Mahoney in the role of James Tyrone, the Irish Repertory of
Chicago's production of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece

While this is a play about an American family it is rooted deeply in
Ireland: exiled from their native land the characters are rootless,
restless and dispossessed.
"Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece calls for four stellar performances in its
leading roles and, with John Mahoney leading the cast, this is what it
receives under Sheldon Patinkin's direction" The Chicago Tribune
