St. Leonards is a nice place to visit. It has beautiful views over Bannow Bay and the people are very nice, friendly and generous. Many tourists come for the hospitality and the lovely scenery. There are a lot of bed-and-breakfasts, farmhouse accommodation and caravan parks that have a very high standard. A visitor to the area might want to visit Hook Head and the Hook lighthouse or the fishing villages of Slade and Fethard-on-Sea. Tintern is a national park nearby, which has a lot to offer, like its lovely walks through forestry and its old abbey, which is being restored.
