The Reverend Robert Popham Bell was Rector of St.Mary's Church, Tipperary Town. He lived at Pegsborough, Tipperary with his family. He was the father of Captain Robert William Popham Bell, who died in July 1916 fighting in The Battle of The Somme, and who is commemorated in the window panel to the left of his father's. The Reverend Bell's panel of the window fittingly shows Joseph, father of The Holy Family. |
