Many Irish-Americans fought, and some died, in the Vietnam War. A much smaller number of Irish-born men served with the U.S. Military Forces in that war. This webpage section is dedicated to them, and especially to the memory of Captain Edmond J. Landers, Silver Star, Bronze Star, Purple Heart, United States Army- killed in action 15 May 1968, Republic of Vietnam whilst serving with the 1st. Infantry Division. |
