Set yourself or your Group the challenge of climbing the 4 highest peaks in each of the provinces and get invited to do Ben Nevis.

The Sleibhtes are challenging hikes, but are not base hikes in the tradition of the MPC. You need not enter in a team, as many or as few who are interested in your group should apply to go. In order to take part in the last one, which will be Scotland, you must have taken part in at least two of the others.

Sleibhte is not for the faint hearted, or the unfit, but you do not need to be a maniac to do it either. It is a serious day's walking (maybe a little more). We will all meet up on the Friday night (except Ben Nevis), and you will be heading home on Sunday afternoon.

This is a brilliant activity for anyone who's interested in hiking and is a great way of meeting up with other Venturers who have similar interests. Leaders are always welcome, but if there is only a couple of you from your group, Leaders are not absolutely necessary.

The first 3 Sleibhte, Ulster, Connucht and Lenister have been and gone, but don't worry if you missed them the next Sleibhte, (sleibhte West) is taking place soon If you interested you should fill in the booking form below and sent it into HQ.
