Here are the remains of three churches. The main church is dedicated to St. Colman. Within the chancel may be seen fragments of slabs with early Irish inscriptions.

This is a huge site with traces of an enclosure measuring upwards of 200 metres east-west. Wile on the south there are indications of a much larger enclosure on the outside. These churches have many early features including trabate dorways, cyclopean masonry and projecting corbels.

The well of St. Colman lies at a distance of 650m to the north-east, further up the limestone slopes from the vally floor.

St. Colman is the patron saint of this area.
