The Waterford City Pipe Band was established in 1980 in the Convent of the Good Shepherd, Waterford, Ireland. The band was originally set up by John Stone, a former member of the De La Salle Scout Pipe Band. This band provide Music and Colour to local events throughout the year and have brought home to our coty of Waterford many trophies and titles in their short history.

We have many fine pipers in our ranks of which many of hem have achieved personal successes in solo competitions and have gone on to play with grade one band the length and breath of the country
