Wave Crest is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland - the famous Ring of Kerry. Wave Crest began as a small camping park over 20 years ago when Sean opened up a field to allow campers to pitch their tents. The surrounding land, mostly rockfall, was unsuitable for farming

Sean, John and Desmond built an access road from the Ring of Kerry main road to the seashore. Careful planing was needed to ensure that the pitches were developed while at the same time keeping as much of the original terrain as possible. The O'Shea family have worked hard to develop the park to the 4-star Bord Failte facility it is today.
