Avondale House

Avondale House, set in an estate of 500 acres of forest and parkland along the west bank of the Avonmore River, 2 km south of Rathdrum, is now a museum to the memory of Charles Stewart Parnell, one of the greatest political leaders of modern Irish history.

Glendalough:

Famous for its wild beauty and historical remains. Site of St. Kevins ancient Monastery. See the Round Tower and combination of lakes, woodland and mountain scenery.

Glenmalure:

Deep wooded glen, ideal for walks or a pleasant drive. It is rugged and wild with picturesque scenery.

Brittas Bay:

Miles and miles of safe sandy beach.

Mountain Usher Gardens:

Beautiful gardens where you can see rare and exotic tress and shrubs.

Powerscourt Demise:

Famous for its lovely Waterfall, surrounded by the landscaped and terraced Powerscourt Gardens which are open to the public.

Russborough  House:

Magnificent Georgian house with a world famous Beit Art Collection for you to see. Drive over the Wicklow Gap, around the lakes at Blessington and return via the Sally Gap to Roundwood (the highest village in Ireland).

Visit Arklow and see the Maritime Museum and also Arklow Pottery. You can also travel to the City of Kilkenny or the Waterford Crystal Factory in Waterford.
