Gossip doesn't interest me.

Yet I do like talking to people. Not necessarily with people who think the way I do but with people who think about the things I think about. I am often accused of "thinking too much".

I like to think about what I consider to be the big questions: politics, spirituality, ecomonics, history, science, that kind of stuff. And I like to talk to people about how these things affect individuals, groups and nations.

While this may seem strange it is surprising how few people are willing to deal with the big issues facing humanity. Most are content to gossip about life and simply refuse to take any kind of personal responsibility for their participation in life itself. To quote Monty Python "We are all individuals" and if enough individuals change the way they think, then the society to which they belong will have changed the way it thinks.
