School of Metalsmithing - Ireland ANTICLASTIC RAISING IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE | ||
Stimulate your creative juices with the aid of Sun, French Food and Coffee at the local Cafe, and maybe after work a glass or two of the locally produced and fermented "Grape Juice" . | ||
This is a view of the small village of Autignac in the centre of one of the many wine producing areas in the region. The Atelier is located about 50mm to the right of the Church which you can see on the left of the Photograph. There are some wonderful walks in the hills behind, which are about 20 minutes away. We
now have a list of students who are interested in participating
in these workshops. If you are interested in taking part in an Anticlastic
or (&) a Silversmithing Workshop in the South of France in October
2010 please click on the link below to let us know. If the demand
requires we can add extra weeks, thus enabling us to cater for all
applicants. We will require deposits at the end of June and the
final amount by the first week in October. | ||

This workshop will take students through some
of the various forms which are possible with Anticlastic Raising
and give them a full understanding of the technique.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
Anticlastic Raising....300 mm X 150 mm X .5mm & 100 mm X 100 mm X .8 mm copper, brass or bronze sheet.
