Public Transport:
The Grote Kerk can be reached from The Hague Central Station, take tram no. 3 (Platform A), get off at halting-place Gravenstraat (near Groenmarkt) or take tram number 10 from Hollands Spoor Station.

By car from Amsterdam (A44 via Wassenaar)
When you reach the end of the A44 (at the stoplights), continue on Rijksstraatweg through Wassenaar. Keep going straight on and follow the signs for ‘Den Haag centrum’ (The Hague City Centre). Do not turn off when you get to the exit for Rotterdam, Utrecht (A12 motorway) and Amsterdam, but continue straight on (follow signs for ‘Centrum RING’) (continued below in 3)

  1. Follow signs for The Hague (‘Den Haag’)
  2. When you reach the end of the A12 motorway (Utrechtse Baan), turn off left (signed for ‘Centrum RING, Kijkduin / Ockenburg’)
  3. You will be on Zuid-Hollandlaan. After 400 metres, you reach a T-junction, where you turn right (get into the 2nd lane), signed for ‘Centrum RING Scheveningen’
  4. You will be on Koningskade. Immediately get into the lane most left and turn left after 150 metres (signed for ‘H Westeinde’)
  5. After 1 kilometre (you will be on Dr Kuyperstraat, which becomes Mauritskade and then Hoge Wal), turn left at the stoplights (where the row of trees ends, with the Royal Stables on your left)
  6. You will be on Prinsessewal. After 300 metres, turn right (where the water ends)
  7. This is Veenkade. After 80 metres, turn left at the stoplights
  8. This is Torenstraat. After 200 metres you’ll see a cafe with a round glass bay window. Turn right here and park in the Torengarage car park
