About Our Organisation

The Alliance (formerly known as AIDS Alliance) is a non-governmental organisation working in the area of sexual health in the Cork and Kerry region, with a specific focus on Cork City. Founded in 1987 to meet the needs of people affected by HIV/AIDS, the organisations remit has since expanded to include both HIV and sexual health. Aims To meet the needs of people living with HIV and their partners and families. To meet the information and educational needs of the general public and specific target groups, with a specific emphasis on young people, in relation to making healthy choices. Our services include: A care and support programme for people affected by HIV. A helpline A reference library Health education programmes in: schools youth organisations prisons the community
