 Annestown Beach

There is plenty of walking around Annestown, and the Comeragh Mountains
are not far away for something a little more rugged and sometimes breathtaking. The
Waterford Crystal 
factory is nearby - about 20 minutes country drive away - and well worth the visit. They
give a fascinating tour of the factory and then dazzle you in the Gallery showroom. Credit
cards at risk. The factory is on the main road for Cork and a good starting point for
heading westward. There really are very good golf
courses around here - 4 in or around Waterford, 1 nearby in Tramore, 3 in Dungarvan and
more. |
