Flotto
There was no winner of our weekly Flotto.
The numbers drawn were 8,11, 14 and 24 and the nearest were Seamus Connolly, Sandfield, and Sean Maloney, Ard Conal. This weeks Jackpot stands at €5400.00 and this weeks Flotto selling team is John McBreartys Team.


History
The History of the Club is progressing very well. The committee have now reached an advanced stage. There are still pictures and other information which is required for the early years. We would hope that people home on holidays over the Christmas holidays would be able to find old pictures that would be required for the book.


Dinner and Dance
The annual Dinner and Dance takes place on Sunday 29th December in the Blue Haven with Music by Paul and Mary B. Tickets will be on sale from next week-end 20th December.


Parish League Videos
The U-10 and U-12 Parish League Videos are on sale. Anyone interested in purchasing a Video can do so by contacting Stephen McCahill.


Presentation Night
On Sunday 22nd December in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel a presentation night will take place for the U-14 and U-16 Boys as well as the U-14 and U-16 Girls.


Comprehensive School Senior Boys
Congratulations to St Columbas Comprehensive School Senior Boys team who won the County Senior Competition when they beat Dungloe last week. Many Ardara boys are part of the Team. Congratulations to all concerned.


Poker Classic Winners
The Poker Classic winners on Sunday night Last were Fergal Heena, Enda Moore and Marty Herron. Previous winners in Dohertys were Thomas Maguire, Michael Breslin and Thomas Gavigan.

Poker Classic
The Minor Board are organising a Poker Classic which will take place in the Greenhouse this coming Sunday night 15th December at 8.00 p.m. We hope to see good support for this event.


U-10s and U-12s
A very successful presentation took place for the U-10s and U-12s last Friday night. Both A and B Teams of both age groups were treated to a meal in the Heritage Centre and in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel. The Club would like to thank Conal McLoone Butchers for their kind sponsorship towards the U-10s. The presentation of medals and disco took place in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel with MC for the event was Larry Gallagher of the Minor Board. A large number of parents attended. The MC thanked all the children for their participation on the Teams for the past year. He thanked Managers Jackie Gallagher, Connie Bennett, Matthew Melly, Conal McLoone and Ted Breslin of the U-10s and to Stephen McCahill, John McBrearty, Patsy Boyle, Margaret McHugh and Eamon McNelis of the U-12 Team. Also to the U-12 Girls who reached the Co semi-final and who were narrowly beaten and who were managed by Connie Bennett, Jackie Gallagher and James McBrearty.

On Sunday 22nd December in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel a presentation night will take place for the U-14 and U-16 Boys as well as the U-14 and U-16 Girls.


Get Well
The Club would like to extend get well wishes to Pat Shovlin who was hospitalised recently. Good to hear he is back on the mend.


Re-elected
Congratulations to Edward Molloy was re-elected to the position of Fixtures Secretary on the Donegal County Board and also to Charlie O'Donnell (who claims to be an Ardara man) who was returned as County Treasurer.


County U-14B Hurling
Congratulations to Jonathon and J. J. Shovlin who were part of the Na Rossa U-14B Team who won the County U-14B Hurling Competition on Sunday last. This is their first year in the competition and great credit to Aidan Hennessy and all the Team for their great achievement.
