Top Title
Two years in a row

One of the biggest events in the I.B.U. calendar ... "The All Ireland 'Irish Bridge Union' Pairs Championships" held in Templeogue, Dublin recently has been won outright by John Joe Doherty & Dennis Ellis from the Ardara Bridge Club in Co Donegal.

John Joe Doherty and Dennis Ellis

What makes this victory unique is the fact that this is their second time to win The All Ireland Pairs Championships having won it last year as well.

This is the first time in the history of the event that this has been achieved and, bearing in mind they were playing against the top players in Ireland, some of whom play for the international team, it makes their victory that much sweeter. Congratulations once again.
