There was no winner of our weekly Flotto.
The numbers drawn were 4, 5, 9 and 17 and the nearest
were Austin Allen, Edergole and Conal Doherty, Front
Street... This weeks jackpot stands at 3600.00

Senior and U21
Training continues in Pearse Memorial Park on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings for Senior and U21.
U-10 Parish Leagues
The U-10 Parish Leagues continue each Wednesday evening.
Three rounds have now been played and two very exciting
games took place last Wednesday evening. In the first
game the "Ardara Swifts" and the "Ardara
Rockets" finished level on a score of (2-03) each.
In the second game of the evening the "Ardara
Bullets" and the "Ardara Flyers" also
ended level at (3-03) each. After playing three games
each the "Swifts" and the "Flyers"
are level on four points each at the top of the table but
there is still plenty of football to be played and the
"Rockets" and the "Bullets" have
still a great chance of reaching the final of this years
Parish League. We hope to see the parents lending support
and enjoying these excellent matches. These are excellent
matches with over 60 children taking part.
U-12s
The U-12s will continue with their Parish Leagues on
Tuesday & Friday evenings at Pearse Memorial Park at
6.00 p.m. Last Friday a great performance from Declan
Boyles Team saw them victorious over Peter Olivers Team.
In the other game a very good performance from Jonathon
Gallaghers Team see them victorious over Francis Boyles
Team. All players are asked to be ready to play at the
above time this coming week.
Willie Rodgers U-12 Tournament
The Willie Rodgers U-12 Tournament will be held this
Saturday in Ballyshannon beginning at 11.00 a.m. The U-12
Team will compete in the Competition. Bus will leave
Pearse Memorial Park at 9.45 a.m.
U-14 Boys
The U-14 Boys play Killybegs in the League Divisional
Final (today) Thursday..
Ladies Junior All Ireland Final
This Sunday will be a great day for the Club when two
ladies will represent the Club when Donegal take on
Galway in the Ladies Junior All Ireland Final in Croke
Park on Sunday at 1.30 p.m. Mairead Gallagher and
Charlene McHugh will play for Donegal in this match.
During half time Shauna Sweeney from Tullymore daughter
of John and RoseMary Sweeney will play at half time
during this time. This will be a big occasion for Shauna
and for her family and the Club. Also the U-14 and U-16
Girls teams from the Club will travel to Croke Park for
the match. The Coach will leave Ardara early on Sunday
morning and any parents wishing to accompany the girls
are asked to give their names to James McBrearty or
telephone 41249. We wish Mairead and Charlene the very
best of luck in the All-Ireland Final on Sunday.
U-21s
The U-21s edged out Kilcar in the first round of the
Donegal U-21 Championship.
Get Well
The club would like to send get well wishes to Barry
Doherty Kilcar who sustained an injury in the U-21
Championship match against Ardara last Saturday evening.

U-14 Boys
The U-14 Boys went down to Cloughaneely in the Co. semi-final
last Wednesday evening at the Banks. They were
unfortunate that this was not one of their better days.
Well done to all concerned players and managers alike for
their work and commitment.
Senior Girls
On last Sunday the Senior girls represented Donegal in
the first round of the Ulster Intermediate Championship
in Greencastle, Co. Tyrone where they took on Tyrone
Champions Sperrin Og. With Ardara eight points down in
the first half came back and levelled. Extra time was
played and Ardara lost by a margin of three points.
Thanks to the Sperrin Og Club who provided food for the
team, managers and supporters. Thanks to James McBrearty
and Jimmy Boyle who guided the team to this stage.

Senior and U21
Training continues in Pearse Memorial Park on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings for Senior and U21.
U-10 Parish Leagues
The U-10 Parish Leagues continue each Wednesday evening.
They began on Wednesday week last with over 60 children
taking part. The following Teams are taking part. The
"Ardara Flyers", The "Ardara Rockets",
The "Ardara Swifts" and the "Ardara
Bullets". In the first match the "Swifts"
captained by Paul Gallagher played out an exciting draw
with the "Flyers" captained by Kevin Heron (1-01)
each the final score. In match 2 the "Bullets"
captained by Gary Sweeney defeated the "Rockets"
captained by Nicholas Breslin on a score of (3-02) to (2-02).
Last weeks matches the "Rockets" played the
"Flyers" and the "Bullets" played the
"Swifts". The Parish League continues on
Wednesday evenings and players must be ready at 6.00 p.m.
sharp.
U-12s
The U-12s will continue with their Parish Leagues on
Friday evenings at Pearse Memorial Park at 6.00 p.m. All
players are asked to be ready to play at the above time.
U-14 Boys
The U-14 Boys had a victory over Killybegs in the
Regional Championship Final in Kilcar on Friday evening
last bring the third Regional Championship title to the
Club this year. This match played in terrible weather
conditions and great credit is due to the players and
management for their performances. They play Cloughaneely
in the County semi-final this week.
Senior Ladies
This Sunday creates a milestone for the Senior Ladies in
the Club when they play in the first Round of the Ulster
Ladies Intermediate Champinship this Sunday 15th
September. They play the Tyrone Champions Sperrin Og from
Greencastle. Venue and time to be arrange later in the
week. Check Divers window for details.
All-Ireland Ladies Junior Championship Final
Congratulations to Club players Mairead Gallagehr and
Charlene McHugh on reaching the All-Ireland Ladies Junior
Championship Final with Donegal to be played in Croke
Park on Sunday 29th September. Donegal play the winners
of NewYork/Galway.

Senior and U21
Training continues in Pearse Memorial Park on Tuesday and
Thursday evenings for Senior and U21.
U-10s
The U-10s continue to train on Wednesday evenings. They
have now started their Parish Leagues and will continue
on Wednesday evenings of each week.
U-12s
The U-12s will train on this Thursday evening 5th
September at 6.30 p.m. They will begin their Parish
Leagues next week.
U-14 Boys
The U-14 Boys will play Killybegs in the Regional
Championship final in Kilcar this Friday 6th September at
6.30 p.m. They also play in the league this week.
U-16 Boys
The U-16 Boys were beaten on Sunday last in the Co Final
by Buncrana. They played well but were unfortunate to
lose to a gallent Buncrana team. Well done to all players
and Management for their committement during the year.
Senior Girls
Congratulations to the Senior Girls who brought back
another Cup to the Club on Sunday last. They beat
Cloughaneely at the Banks on a score of (7-13) to (4-02).
The team was Sansha Maguire, Rebecca Watters, Caroline
Breslin, Stepheanie Sweeney, Eimear O'Donnell, Patricia
Mannering, Mairead Watters, Charlene McHugh (1-01), Aoife
McDonald (1-04), Mairead Brennan, Mairead Gallagher (0-03),
Ciara Mooney, Natalie Gildea (2-02), Marie Diver (2-02),
Catriona McHugh (0-01). Subs - Siobhan Heena, Noreen
Gallagher (1-00), Charlene Smyth, Martina McHugh, Sharon
Kilbane, Meave O'Donnell and Carmel Boyle. Managers as
usual James Mcbrearty and Jimmy Boyle. They will now play
in the Ulster Club Championship on Sunday 15th September
when they take on the winners of County Tyrone. We wish
them all the best of luck.
Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of the Club takes place in Dohertys
next Monday night at 9.30 p.m.
Good Luck
Good luck to Charlene Kennedy and Mairead Gallagher who
will line out with Donegal this Saturday when they play
Cork in the All Ireland semi-final.
Club Holiday
Arrangements for the Club Holiday have been finalised.
The group will depart for Tenerife on Sunday 20th October
from Dublin and will return on Sunday 27th October. There
are still 2 places available and anyone interested can
