DECEMBER

Peace

When you seek happiness or peace out in the world, you aremoving into lack, saying that peace does not reside
naturally inside of you and that you must find it somewhere
else. Then lack, not peace, is your result.

Direct Your Consciousness

If you do take your consciousness and direct it toward
something - a rose bush, for example - loving and blessing
it, it will bear more abundantly.  If you pray over seeds
with your love, saying, "I will plant you, and you will grow
and be magnificent," it will stir the life force within the
seed and give it the promise to fulfill.

Living Love

I will continue living here and now, always and all ways in
the level of living love.

- John-Roger

Humbling of the Self

As soon as that mean, ugly thing shows up in your mind, you
usually say to it, "Why are you there? Did I put you there?
Did I let you sneak in? Did you get in there because I
wasn't watchful? Get out of here!"

Then you find that it won't go. Why? Because you must bring
compassion into yourself; you must nurture yourself and kind
of feel sorry for yourself. You actually sit down in a chair
and say, "Oh, God, I didn't know what I did. I am really
sorry that I did that, and now that I know, I do want
change."

It's a humbling of the self. Your pattern may not change
right away. But when it starts up again, you challenge it
once again, and in that challenge you once again strengthen
yourself and empower the Divinity to come into you as a
natural source of your energy, like breathing,

Believe In Yourself

In a movie called "The Last Starfighter",
a young man who was found to be the
greatest (Human) star pilot ever asked to
be taken home because he didn't believe
himself to be up to the task of defeating an
invading evil empire.

Once back on Earth, as the 'talent scout'
who found him is about to leave, he says,
'Hey, I'm just a kid from a trailer park in Nebraska,'
to which the scout replied one of the best
motivational sayings ever. He said:
'If that's what you think, then that's
all you'll ever be.'

Spoken In: The Last Starfighter

Learning

Learning from your experiences is the best way to create
steady, upward movement. That includes learning from your
mistakes.

You never fall below the level of your last learning, so
don't be afraid to look at what you are doing, learn what's
working, drop what isn't and then move on.

Acceptance of your process of learning brings you into
peace.

Acceptance

"Both addiction and renunciation are forms of attachment to the past.  To stay in the present, each person must learn to accept her experience and all her feelings about it.  And this is true for experiences that she dislikes as well as those that she likes.  When she is in acceptance of her experience and in touch with her feelings about it, be they negative or positive, she does not have to carry the experience forward subconsciously."

-- Paul Ferrini from the book, "The Silence of the Heart."

Peace

It is the peace of standing up in great strength and
purpose, with great intention towards God's loving in
mankind that we bring the peace to bear everywhere we go.

And peace gives unto peace as love gives unto love, as Light
gives to Light, as laughter gives to laughter.

- John-Roger
(From: "Hearing God's Message?", video and audio tape #7766)

Energy follows thought.

That means if you are thinking about a hot fudge sundae, all
the levels of your consciousness come in line to bring that
to you.

The same is true for envisioning and moving toward higher
awareness and Soul transcendence.  All of your levels will
start making that happen.  You will receive cooperation from
your mind, emotions, basic selves; even your subconscious
will be guiding you though you will not be consciously aware
of that level.  That's why it becomes so important to watch
your thoughts because you will create in a physical way
those things you have focused on in your thinking.

Also, be careful what you say.  Listen to what you say and
be sure it represents what you really want in your life.

Definition of Namaste
(Leo Buscaglia )

"I honor the place in you where the entire universe
resides. I honor the place in you where lies your
love, your light, your truth and your beauty. I
honor the place in you, where...if you are in
that place in you...and I am in that place
in me...then there is only one of us"

Thank You

To those of you who have pushed me, thank you.
Without you I wouldn't have fallen.

To those of you who laughed at me, thank you.
Without you I wouldn't have cried.

To those of you who just couldn't love me, thank you.
Without you I wouldn't have known real love.

To those of you who hurt my feelings, thank you.
Without you I wouldn't have felt them.

To those of you who left me lonely, thank you.
Without you I wouldn't have discovered myself.

But it is to those of you who thought I couldn't do it;
It is you I thank the most,
Because without you I wouldn't have tried.

All is Well

The spiritual person knows that all is right and proper and
that everything is really going well, even when it may not
appear that way.

What Others Think

When you seek to truly make a
difference, someone is going to tell you no.
But that's their problem, not yours. No matter
how magnificently you perform, someone
is going to find a way to complain about it.
But that's their problem, not yours.

It can be extremely valuable to understand
what other people think, and quite useful to
make a positive impression whenever possible.
Always keep in mind, though, that the opinions
of others are just that -- opinions.

Let their opinions, whatever they may be,
support and encourage you rather than stop
you. Keep in mind that attempts to please
everyone will all too often end up pleasing no one.

Some people are just not going to like you, no
matter what you do. Some people are going to
disagree with you, no matter how reasonable
you are. Just because someone rejects what
you're doing does not mean you must reject it too.
Listen to the rejections, listen to the complaints,
learn from them, take whatever positive actions
are appropriate, and then move confidently forward.

-- Ralph Marston

Maybe Someday

Maybe someday you'll start living every
day true to the best that is within you.

Maybe someday you'll really start to
seriously pursue your most treasured dreams.

Maybe someday you'll stop holding back and
live the richness of every moment.

Maybe someday you'll show the world who you really are.

Maybe someday you'll explore the best of
those possibilities that you know in your heart are there.

Maybe someday you'll tell them what you really think.

Maybe someday you'll see how truly beautiful life can be.

Maybe someday you'll understand that nothing can hold you back.

Maybe someday you'll decide that your life cannot wait any longer.

Maybe someday you'll wake up, see how useless
most of your worries have been, and simply
leave them behind.

Maybe someday is coming.

Maybe someday will be sooner than you think.

Maybe someday you'll decide to start living life
for everything it can possibly be, and you'll
wonder why you ever waited so long.

Maybe someday is here.

-- Ralph Marston

When you are in acceptance, you are in profound peace.

Accepting something doesn't mean you are agreeing with it or
condoning it. In acceptance, you are freeing yourself of
negative thoughts and feelings and making yourself available
to the powerful presence of peace. You can see more clearly.
This is the place you want to be in when you have decisions
to make. This is the place from which you can make an impact
on the world for the better.

Grace

The more you exercise the grace, the less restrictions have
anything to do with you.

- John Morton

Forgiveness

If you forgive me, you've done yourself a wonderful favor,
because I am no longer draining your energy (though I didn't
know it).  You're starting to pull in the energy that was
being utilized in a very destructive, corrupted way towards
you, and you're reclaiming it.

- John-Roger
(From:  Forgiveness, The Key to the Kingdom)

Children's Love

When children love something, they look forward to it and
are wide open to the information.

- John-Roger
(From: Loving Each Day for Moms & Dads)

Divine Love

Divine love is not beyond us.  It is authentically caring
from your heart into another person, or an animal, or a
tree, or whatever.  It's an authentic caring.

IF YOU WANT IT, YOU CAN HAVE IT
(c) Mentor Max

If you're willing to pay the price,
any of your circumstances will change.
If you want something badly enough,
you're sure to get it.
The key to success is desire.

Obstacles don't matter very much.
Pain, circumstances or other challenges can be there.
But if you want to do something bad enough,
you'll find a way to get it done.

Your desire will in time externalize itself into concrete fact.
Your reality will form around your commitment to succeed.

You only have to love a thing greatly to get it.
Desire is the fire of life.

Salvation

"If you are doing something you would do for nothing - then you are on your way to salvation. And if you could drop it in a minute and forget the outcome, you are even further along. And if while you are doing it you are transported into another existence, there is no need for you to worry about
the future."

-- Dr. George Sheehan, 1918-1993
