It is where the heart is that matters.

Reward of Loving

Just sit there with the loving process inside of you because
the reward of a loving, open heart is exactly that.

- John-Roger
(From: Loving Each Day, Volume 1)

Love 6

A person desperately searching for love is like a fish desperately searching for water."
- Deepak Chopra

And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to
The love you make

-- Ken Keyes

To love someone means to see him as God intended
-- Dostoevski

Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts.
--Marianne Williamson

Love 4

How many loved your moments of glad grace.
And loved your beauty with love false or true.
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face.
~W.B. Yeats (The Countess Kathleen)

When it comes to giving love, the opportunities are unlimited, and we are all gifted.
-- Leo Buscaglia

The truth is that there is only one
Terminal dignity....Love
And the story of a love is not important
What is important is that
One is capable of love
It is perhaps the only glimpse
 We are permitted of eternity
                                              -- Helen Hayes

Love 3

What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.
All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.

                                              -- Helen Keller

Love and desire are the spirit's wings to great deeds.
-- Johann W.von Goethe

All thoughts, all passions, all delights,
Whatever stirs this mortal frame,
All are but ministers of Love,
And feed his sacred flame.
~Samuel Coleridge

Love 2

We can make ourselves say the kind things that rise in our hearts and tremble on our lips -- do the gentle and helpful deeds which we long to do and shrink back from; and little by little, it will grow easier -- the love spoken will bring back the answer of love -- the kind deed will bring back a kind deed in return.
-- Harriet Beecher Stowe

Unconditional love is the most powerful stimulant to the immune system.
-- Bernie Siegel

One word frees us of all the weight and pain in life. That word is love.
-- Sophocles

Love 1

Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead. The consciousness of loving and being loved brings a warmth and richness to life that nothing else can bring.
-- Oscar Wilde

Love is like quicksilver in the hand. Leave the fingers open and it stays in the palm; clutch it and it darts away.
-- Dorothy Parker

Love is the miracle cure. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives. I am not talking about vanity or arrogance  . . . for that is not love. It is only fear. I am talking about having a great respect for ourselves and a gratitude for the miracle of our body and our mind.
-- Louise L.Hay

And More Love

Under the sustaining influence of love, the physical body is always at its best. It is probably true that more people are sick from lack of love in their lives than from all other causes put together.
-- Eric Butterworth

Tenderness and kindness are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations of strength and resolution.
-- Kahlil Gibran

There is a single magic, a single power, a single salvation, and a
single happiness, and that is called loving.
-- Hermann Hesse

Even More Love

Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.
-- Dalai Lama

Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go to the making of genius. Love, love, love -- that is the soul of genius.

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
-- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

More Love

Love is the free exercise of choice. Two people love each other only when they are quite capable of living without each other but choose to live with each other.
-- M. Scott Peck

The great tragedy of life is not that men perish, but that they cease to love.
-- W. Somerset  Maugham

Love dies only when growth stops.

Love

The only transformer and alchemist that turns everything into gold is love. The only magic against death, aging, ordinary life, is love.

You cannot leave a situation until you have done so with love. Those situations you leave in anger  will be there for you to resolve in the future. It may not be with the same person, but you will create another person and a similar situation to allow you to resolve it with love.
-- Sanaya Roman (channeling Orin)

Because one does not see that love is an activity, a power of the soul, one believes that all that is necessary is to find the right object -- and that everything goes by itself afterward. This attitude can be compared to that of a man who wants to learn to paint but who, instead of learning the art, claims that he has just to wait for the right object, and that he will paint beautifully when he finds it.
-- Erich Fromm The Art of Loving

Reflection of You

If you see disturbance out there in the world, it is a
reflection of disturbance in you.  If you see something you
don't like in another child of Light, it is because that
same place exists inside of you, and you recognize that.

All of your experiences, all of your relationships, reflect
you back to yourself so that you can learn to know yourself
in greater and greater ways.

- John-Roger
(From: The Way Out Book)

Fulfill Them

When children need something they come to you to fulfill
their prayers. They are depending on you to see what you can
do to fulfill them.

Don't be afraid to pick them up, cuddle them, love them, rub
their backs and kiss and hug them.

Give them all the love you can muster, and they will return
it to you in more ways than you can imagine.

- John-Roger
(From: Loving Each Day for Moms & Dads)

Experiences

The Self that is real is happy and healthy.  Experiences
come to you for a reason; they come so you can learn.

But you can "project" either a positive or negative
interpretation on almost any experience.  If you project a
positive interpretation, you may find your life easier to
handle.

BLOWING BUBBLES
(c) Cristin Snyder

Seems so simple and it is so fun to watch as my little son runs after them and laughs when he goes to touch them and suddenly they pop and disappear.
Little peals of laughter and amazement, ever wondering how all these things of the world work.

I began thinking about these bubbles today in the park, what they have to
show me about all I have learned so far on my journey.

How to see things in circles: things are never straight and narrow, all things come in circles.

How to look through illusions, How things that appear in a seemingly solid form can disappear in a split second.

The beauty of reflection.

What it feels like to float and drift away in the beauty of your own existence.

To feel what it is like to bring joy and laughter to young and old with the simple things.

How to look at the complex in the simple and see the simple in the seemingly complex.

What is on the outside is merely a reflection , but inside it is the breath of life that brings us into existence, many different bubbles, some small, some large, some reflecting different colors, but all originated from the same source, floating together.

I learned a lot today in this simple activity.

My eyes are open to the beauty of all that exists and I am eternally grateful for the gift of Universal Love & Acceptance I have realized.

THE TOP 10 GARDENING PRINCIPLES TO APPLY TO YOUR LIFE
(c) Angela M. Zakon

By applying gardening principles to your personal development, you can grow a life with strong roots and full of beautiful flowers.

1. Plants need sun, water and nutrients to grow. We need food, water, shelter, exercise and community to grow and thrive.

2. Healthy plants can withstand disease, pests and draught, at least for a little while. With reserves of time, money, space, energy and love we can withstand the little bumps in the road.

3. Native plants grow better and with less fuss then exotic plants. Develop your natural skills and talents instead of struggling to become an expert in all areas.

4. Every plant doesn't have the same level of need for sun, water, and nutrients. Do what works for you, not what works for someone else.

5. Manure and bugs can help plants to grow better. The challenges in life often teach you the best lessons.

6. A garden is never the same. It is always changing, evolving and adapting. We need to be life-long learners.

7. Plants have a dormant period when they rest and store energy for their next growth spurt. We too need time to rest and store up energy for the next stage in our growth.

8. Some plant combinations, like marigolds keeping bugs off of the tomato plants, are complementary, others, like the ivy that smothers every plant in its way, are deadly. Your neighbors can help or hurt you. Be careful with whom you associate.

9. Little weeds are easier to pull than big weeds with deep roots. Practice a little "daily weeding" in your life. Spend some time every day on the area of your life that tends to get "weedy." If you seem to accumulate clutter this could be as simple as spending 15 minutes a day de-cluttering.

10. The super huge vegetable doesn't usually taste good and every gardener knows you can be overrun with zucchini. Bigger isn't always better and more isn't always what you really need or want. Know how much is enough for you.

Do more

"Do more than belong, participate. Do more than care, help. Do more than
believe, practice. Do more than be fair, be kind. Do more than forgive,
forget. Do more than dream, work."

-- William Arthur Ward

Cherish the Moment

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE OVER

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the "GOOD" living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment realizing that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later.  Now go get washed up for dinner."

There would have been more "I love you's" and more "I'm sorry's"..but mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute....look at it and really see it..live it ... and never give it back.

In the End, Only kindness matters....

Keeping Up

Do not attempt to keep up with anyone.

Don't even attempt to keep up with yourself because your
Self is going nowhere.

It's present.  Here it is.  There is no right to be earned
here.  It is given to us by grace.  Therein lies the
difference.

The only true right we have is to our own inheritance, and
we don't have to go anywhere because we're already
inherited.

That inheritance is absolute truth.  It resides upon itself
in itself, not dependent upon anybody's point of view or
whether they like it or not.

Realization

You are already all that you will be.

You are already that which you seek.

The blessings already are, and all you need to do is open
your eyes and see that.  All you need is the realization.

- John-Roger

Be who you are

Don't be afraid to be who you are.  Allow yourself the
dignity of your own loving.

- John-Roger

Trust

Trust is often one of the first things you see when you look
into a child's eyes.

- John-Roger
(From: Loving Each Day for Moms & Dads)

I can prove to you that you are more than the body.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Let it out and
breathe normally. Let your body be quiet. If you have an
ache, forget it for now. Let the physical pressures drop
away. Now let your emotions move away from you. If you've
had your feelings hurt, let that hurt go. You don't need it.
Now let the mind go. Think of nothing. Let all these levels
drop away.

Who's doing this? When you stop moving around physically,
when you drop the emotions and become calm, when you stop
the mind, who is left? It's not your emotions, your mind or
your body. What is left is YOU.

ALL DOORS OPEN TO COURTESY.
(c) Mentor Max

There is no investment you'll ever make which will pay you so well as the effort to scatter sunshine and good cheer where ever you are.

The deepest principal in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.
Treat an individual as if they were what they ought to be and could be,and they will become what they ought to be and could be.

Everyone thrives on being appreciated, loved and needed.
There is no stimulus like that which comes from the consciousness of knowing that others believe in you.

Applaud others when they run.
Console them when they fall.
And cheer them when they recover.

As water is to a flower so is praise to the heart of another.

The tide will turn

"When you get in a tight place and everything goes against you, till it
seems as though you could not hold on a minute longer, never give up then,
for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn."

-- Harriet Beecher Stowe
