Spring Arrives at Cavan No1.

In Autumn and Spring the children in all classes plant bulbs and seeds in containers, flowerbeds and windowboxes to add colour to the schoolyard. The pictures show some of the flowers currently in bloom.

Crocuses planted in September add colour to the playground in early February.		Windowboxes were planted up in September using a mixture of bulbs and bedding plants. This box shows crocuses, daffodils and winter pansies.
	The first tête a tête daffodils bloomed on Monday 11th February 2002. Much earlier than usual. Sign of a milder winter!!
This box shows tulips in bloom in April.
