Aims & Objectives

To house the Elderly Poor of Cork City, those who are non-property holders of old age and dependent upon the pension.

Programmes

• Major fund raising one week before Christmas all over Cork and in Patrick's Street in particular where there is a Christmas Crib assembled.
• There are 172 housing units in Cork City being used to house those in need.
• Continual care of those old people who have to enter nursing homes.

Volunteer Profile & Further Information:

Volunteer co-ordination comes from the boys of the transition year in Presentation Brother's College, Mardyke. These in turn involve all the other schools around Cork City.

Many volunteers including the mothers of the boys in transition year arrange various fund raising and caring activities.
