set a headline in the country?

During the Guatemalan civil war, over 200,000 were killed or disappeared. 83% of those who died were Maya. Government forces committed over 80% of the killings. During the time of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia (1975-79) up to 2 million people, out of a population of 7 million, were killed. Many indigenous people, who lived not far from the border, fled to Vietnam and Laos.
