VOCATIONS SUNDAY:

Today May 6th is VOCATIONS SUNDAY.

We ask you to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

The decline in vocations is evident throughout every Diocese in Ireland. Fortunately the Meath Diocese has not been as hard hit as other Dioceses. This year two priests - Deacons Browne and Darby - will be ordained for the Diocese of Meath. Fr. Michael Whittaker is Vocations Director for the Diocese of Meath and he may be contacted at 0405 – 57021.

Maybe God is calling you as a priest?

Cemetery Notice:

Our caretaker is busy controlling the growth of grass. Unfortunately the overall appearance of the Cemetery is distorted by many graves which are growing wild. It is the policy of the Cemetery Committee to maintain graves where there are no surviving relatives but we are reluctant to intrude in other cases. We ask plotholders to give immediate attention to their plots. We also remind people that only organic material - grass, weeds, clay – should be deposited in the Skip. Other artificial material – plastic, wreaths, paper ribbon – should be deposited in the Bin provided.
