           submit a detailed application form.

CONTENT OF COURSE

In Holy Trinity College students will take 4 law subjects over a one or two year period.  There will be lectures, tutorials, seminars.  Students will have to prepare and speak on selected topics.  Time will have to be spent in the College Library reading, researching and writing assignments. Permission has been granted for students to attend both the Civil and Criminal Courts.

EXAMINATIONS

Diploma examinations are held in Holy Trinity College Law School.

In May/June there will be a three hour traditional examination in each subject.  The examinations are set and marked in London by the University of London to exactly the same standards as are used for the LLB examinations for internal students.  The University may refuse permission to sit an examination to a student whose attendance has not been satisfactory.  Attendance lists must be submitted by Holy Trinity College Law School to the University.

THE DIPLOMA HOLDER

The Diploma holder can enter the second year of the LLB and complete the LLB degree in a further 2 years (scheme A) or three years (scheme B).  Remember, however, that the Diploma is a qualification in its own right and can be used when seeking employment.
