Irish traditional music has been
a central part of life in this area of Clare for many years. Doolin has become known
as the traditional music capital of Ireland. There is a vibrant music scene
throughout the year, with music in all three pubs in Doolin every night of the Summer and
every weekend in Winter.
Micho Russell Memorial Weekend
The Micho Russell Memorial Weekend takes place annually in
Doolin on the last weekend in February. This is a three day event of traditional
music, song dance and music workshops in memory of a great local flute
& whistle player
