GIRLS FOOTBALL
We participate in two football competitions apart from the I.N.T.O/G.A.A. seven's, the one in the autumn and the one in the Spring/Summer. In 1993 the girls got into the division 1 final (Summer) but unfortunately were beaten by Doonbeg. They were back in Cusack Park however the following Summer to claim their first Div. 1 title. In 1995 the girls got into the division 2 final (autumn) against Kilkishen but unfortunately were beaten.
In 1996 the girls became champions of division 1 (Autumn) after their victory over St. Conaire's. The score was 3-2 to 1-1 in favour of Crusheen. 1997 saw them defeat Miltown Malbay in division B (Summer) and it was a great win. The final score was Crusheen 3-9 and Miltown 1-1. In Autumn of 1997 the girls lost a first division final to Scoil Chriost Ri. Then last June (1998) our girls beat Miltown Malbay for the second year in a row in a Summer final in Cusack Park.
