Crusheen people are passionate about sport and the year just passed has been an extraordinary year for this small parish.
On the night of the Christmas concert 14 captains gathered at the Community Centre to have their photograph taken with the fourteen trophies won in the year 2000.
4 of those trophies came to the school:
Boys hurling Division 2
Girls Football C Division (Summer)
Boys Football Division 3 (Autumn)
Girls Football Division 1 (Autumn)
