The Pool
Every Wednesday from September to December fourth, fifth and sixth classes go swimming. We go to Ennis Swimming Pool from 11 o’clock to 12 o’clock. Our class goes on a bus and it costs 1 pound each. There are around forty-five in our group altogether.
The pool is divided into three groups, beginners, improvers and experts. The beginners use floats to help them swim. The improvers and experts have races across the pool.
In May there is a gala for the various schools using the pool. Each class team consists of five girls and five boys. We won the beginners section of the gala in 1997. We love the pool.
