SL1210s from Technics; We've got 7 of 'em in our live act, and all the other DJs have a set. (Dean uses 3!). Altogether we've got over 13 of these prized and cherished mixing tools!

X-Base 09 from JoMoX; The ultimate live drum machine (useful in the studio too), as used by Dean & Darren F (we've got 2!). A monster! This is a motha of a drum machine. To use it is like analogue sexual heaven. Full control and editability, endless possibilities, coolvintage good looks and a sound & feel that cannot be described until heard. This is real-time drum reality.
Voyager 1 from Red Sound; The one and only Beat Xtractor. The all essential midi generater. Presently Dean & Darren F use 2 of 'em, but Impulsive have plans for more. A essential tool live. The era of the 'Future DJ' is what Impulsive is all about, and this is the magic link.
AN1x from Yamaha; The analogue monster. A very useful keyboard indeed. Great sound, great versatility. Tonys baby! Need we say any more?
CS1-x from Yamaha; Deans compliment to Tonys AN1. In his own words, "a superb synth, great sounds, great filters, great features, great looks and a great lead instrument live".
SU-10 from Yamaha; A very versatile and useful sampler. Barry & Dean cherish these small but powerful tools (1 each!). Amazing features in a tiny box.
CDJ-500 from Pioneer; How else could Tony & Dean mix in those CD-Rs???! A revolutionary CD mixer. Nuff said!
SM-58 from Shure; Industry standard microphone, all of Behaviour use em.
PCP330 from FAT; Darren Fs prized Vocoder. Check out them fucked up vocals man!
MZ-R30 from Sony; A handy portable Mini-Disc Recorder as used by Dean.
DD1-G from Vestax; The digital delay unit as used by Darren F & Deano (2 units) in both their DJ sets and live as Behavior.
S3000XL from Akai; Tonys prized studio sampler. A real workhorse! Essential! Dean has recently purchased one too!
Syntechno Tee Bee. An analogue bass generater that shits on other 303 clones! Huge sounds. Highly recommended. We use two! Amazing features in this rack-mount.
Roland MC-303 Groovebox. A sexy little box of tricks! A combination of lots of Rolands older analogue machines including the 909, 808 and 303 series. More sounds and noises than you may think. A great live tool. Serious features, good versatility.
Tascam 488 Mark II, 8-track Portastudio. A great multitrack recorder for a smaller set-up. Dean uses this in his Impulsive studio set up and we also utilise it live. Tasty features in compact design. Great sound quality and control.
