BEHAVIOR

Darren Flynn, Dean Sherry and Tony Dexter

'Behavior' is Dean Sherry, Darren Flynn and Tony Dexter.

Behavior was set up in late 1996 by Dean Sherry and Darren Flynn after lengthy discussions regarding the overall sound and direction to be taken by the band.

Together the two DJ's/musicians (Dean and Darren) decided to create quality progressive house music, with a deep underground and electro, yet eclectic, sound.

"B.F.O.T." was to be the title of the first track.

In March 1997 they recorded "B.F.O.T." in 'Lo Studios' in Donaghmede, Dublin, with Oisin O' Malley as engineer.

They then recorded a radio mix and a dub remix of "B.F.O.T." soon after. The track features Darren's main vocal, with Dean on backing vocals. The epic track, over 10 minutes long, throws together a variety of musical styles and appeals across the musical board.

In April they recorded their second track, "Addiction", also in 'Lo Studios', and soon after recorded the 'Dark Path Remix' of it. "Addiction" is a natural follow up to its predecessor, but a lot more intense and sinister in sound and format.

They have begun to set up their own studio and are preparing a live act to coincide with the release of the tracks. The aim is to launch 'Impulsive Records' with a 'Behavior' 12" double pack of the two aforementioned tracks. Dean and Darren have also been working on other projects to back up the label launch and are presently working with DJ/producer Tony Dexter (DJ Kayos) in his Dublin studio and with other engineers and musicians in Pulse studios, also in Dublin, under various aliases including the 'D.C. Collective', 'Dark Path', and the 'Harvey Floorbangers'.

Tony has since become a third member of the 'Behavior' outfit and the trio are continuing to work on future releases and live projects. More tracks including "Ghost Pt. 1 & 2" and "Blu" have since been completed plus others are in progress.
