Sceala

What's it all about?

The setting up of an annual event designed to facilitate, celebrate an promote the creative abilities of transition year pupils, in a spirit of community and fun, with a view to exhibiting their original work.

The aims of the project were:

  • To bring together students through the medium of their creative skills.

  • To allow the exchange of ideas and dialogue between schools through the medium of art.

  • To facilitate and create a safe environment for self-expression in a pupil-led approach.

We are glad to say these aims were reached to the fullest. The evening was well attended, a great night was had by all especially the students, as it was their night.
