WHAT DO I DO IF THE SURGERY IS CLOSED OR IN AN EMERGENCY?

Phone 01 8300244
At this number your call will be passed on to either your own doctor or a doctor on duty. There is always a doctor available at that number.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SPEAK TO MY DOCTOR OVER THE PHONE?

The best time to get through to your doctor is usually about lunchtime:- ie. 12.00 - 1.00pm. Otherwise the receptionist will let you know when the doctor will be able to speak to you. There is a receptionist available to answer your calls from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm Monday to Friday. On Wednesday we close earlier at 4.30pm.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO GET MY TEST RESULTS?

Please phone to find out the results of your tests between 12.00 - 1.00 if possible.

WHAT IF I NEED A REPEAT PRESCRIPTION?

Please give us 24 hours notice if you need your medication renewed, so that we can have it ready for you to collect.

WHAT IF I NEED A HOUSECALL?

Phone for housecalls before 12 Noon as the doctors usually do calls between 1pm and 3pm, approximately. Do try and come to the surgery if you can, where we have all the diagnostic equipment.

WILL I BE WAITING LONG TO SEE A DOCTOR?

We try to see you as close to your appointment time as possible. However, very sick adults or children will be seen first so therefore the time you wait is sometimes unpredictable. We do appreciate your patience and concern for others.
