Ok, so after a few pints on New Years Eve, the resolutions
were flowing (many to be broken before dawn).
One however, was to run the Marathon in October 2003. Here is my sorry
story...
So before I start I guess my goals are...
- to fiinish and
- to do it in under 4 hours which is sub 8min per mile..
Day 1 (Sunday 19th Jan '03)
Before: Started off with what I thought would be an easy jog.
Distance:
2.2 Miles
Time:
?
After: Not as easy as I thought. But I did survive.
Total Distance:
2.2 Miles
Day 3 (Tuesday 21st Jan '03)
Before: Wanted to jog 10 minutes in one direction and back again.
Distance:
2.2 Miles
Time: 19:31 minutes.
After: Not too bad. But need a rest day..
Total Distance:
4.4 Miles
Ok, so I've done out a bit of a schedule
to start with this weekend....
Oh shit!
Injured my ankle playing indoor soccer and will not be training for at least
4/5 weeks :(
