This coin is an example of a shilling of Elizabeth I's second issue (called the Fine Issue).

The mint mark is a harp (at the beginning of the legend on each side)

The legends are clear with no blundering and read:

(obverse) ELIZABETH :. D'.G'.A'.F'.ET.HIBERNIE REG'
(reverse) POSVI:DEVM:ADIVTOREM:MEVM

Which translates and expands to:
Elizabeth by the grace of God, England, France and Ireland Queen
I have made god my helper.

These are the normal legends and mintmark for the issue.
There is some variety in how the obverse legend ends, some coins having more or less of the final word 'REGINA'

The coin illustrated above is in good very fine condition (GVF) with the reverse slightly better. Unfortunately the portrait is a bit weak and slightly worn. However overall it is a very nice specimen and though there are some better ones known this is as good as is normally available on the market.
