Welcome!
This web quest will encourage your students to discover more about the Irish Presidency :- the people who held office, the role and duties of the Presidency, and to see the interior of the President's State living quarter's.
While designed for Irish children in 5th and 6th classes in primary schools, it may be of interest to children elsewhere.

Your pupils will open a questionnaire in a second browser window (Process page 1). They should immediately save it, using a filename such as Irish Presidents by studentname.doc (for example Irish Presidents by Paul O'Brien.doc).
Answers may be entered into the document on-screen.
Student's may then save their work and resume another day by loading their personal semi-complete document.

Teacher's may opt, however, to have students print the questionnaire initially, and write answers by hand.

To facilitate correcting and assessing the students' work a completed questionnaire is provided here in MS Word 251Kb and PDF 115 Kb formats.
Right-click and choose "Save Target as..." to download.

Evaluation
Parts B, C and D may be self-evaluated by students using the on-screen multiple choice quiz.
