Who Are We?

The schools of theology and philosophy, providing studies in a cross-cultural environment, have been a feature of Kimmage since the earliest parts of this century.

KMI Institute of Theology and Cultures was established in 1991 when a number of religious and missionary groups combined their pastoral, teaching and missionary experiences to present theology in more creative ways.

Today, KMI Institute of Theology and Cultures attracts participants from Ireland and all over the world, blending together diverse cultures and traditions in the study of theology, scripture, anthropology and spirituality.

The Consortium is made up of the following groups:
Divine Word Missionaries (SVD)
Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa (FMA)
Missionary Sisters of the Holy Rosary (MSHR)
Medical Missionaries of Mary (MMM)
Missionary Sisters of St. Columban
Missionary Society of St. Columban (SSC)
Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of the Apostolate (OLA)
Redemptorist Congregation (CSsR)
Society of African Missions (SMA)
Spiritans (Holy Ghost Congregation - CSSp)
St Patrick's Mission Society (Kiltegan - SPS)
