About the Club

The River Blackwater is renowned for its wild brown trout fishing Running through
picturesque country side its tree sheltered banks and gentle streams provide an
idyllic setting for the trout angler.
Stocks are plentyful and trout weigh on average between 1/2lb and 3/4lb.
The club restock their waters on an anual basis and carry out ancillary work such
as bank clearing stile erecting etc., however the club is conscious not to
interfere too much with the natural environment.



Where to fish

The club controls approximately five miles East and West of Mallow Bridge.

When to Fish

THe trout fishing season begins on the River Blackwater on the 15th .
Ferbruary and finishes on the 30th Sept.
