The Brazilian Soccer team

The Brazilian Soccer team won the world cup four times and were very close to a fifth title in France in 1998. They are managed by Mario Zagallo. The best player ever for Brazil was Pelé. Ronaldo is their best player now, and we all Know Roberto Carlos with his incredible free kicks. Brazil wear yellow jerseys, blue shorts and white socks. Ronaldo plays for Inter Milan, Roberto Carlos plays for Real Madrid. Their captain is Carlos Dunga.

My School

My school has thirteen teachers and one principal. His name is Mr. McInerney. The name of our school is St. Michael's Boys School Mervue. The teachers names are Miss Archer, Mrs Callally, Mr. Munroe, Mr. O'Dwyer, Mr. Forde, Mr. Corbett, Mr. Clancy, Mr Mooney, Miss Kincaid, Mr. Coen, Mr. Sayers, Mrs. Tierney and Miss Sayers. My Favourite subject is reading. I don't like Maths. Mr. Mooney is my teacher. We have a new library in our school. The book I am reading at the moment is called Sir Quentin Quest Hunts the Yeti.

World Cup France '98

The last world cup was held in France. The first match that France played was in Marseilles. There were 60000 people in the stadium. Zidane was the best player at the world cup. France beat Brazil 3 - 0 in the final. France's captain was Laurent Blanc who always kisses the goalkeepers head before each game. The goalies name is Barthez. The world cup final was played in the Stade de France which is in St Denis. Zidane scored two goals and Petit scored 1.
