The Robot

It all began one night when I went down to my dad's secret room. I was curious to see what was down there. I turned the key and the door creaked as it opened. I walked in and there to my surprise it was sitting on a chair. I went over and had a look. It was a robot made of steel and electric wires. I looked around for the remote and there it was on the table. I turned it on. He said, "I am your boss, what do you want"? As I stood up the remote fell and broke. The robot went out of control and started throwing things around. He picked me up and flung me across the room. He walked out of the room and headed for the sitting room where my family was watching television. The robot tied up my mum and dad. My dad told me to cut the wires at the back of the robot. The robot got angry and lifted me up over his shoulders. I pulled the wires out and I fell to the ground. The robot spun around and all his parts started to fall out. He was dead. We burned him in the garden and the remote wasn't fixed in case my baby brother got at it. I don't even like robots now and my dad keeps the key to his room with him all the time in case anything happens again in the near future. Our lives are back to normal again.

A Dinosaur Story

One day 50 million years ago T-Rex hunted for a meal. Then it heard something in the forest. It peeked out and saw Parasaurolophus. But it had to wait for the right time to strike. Parasaurolophus was just 2 metres away. T-Rex pounced and all the Parasaurolophus ran for their lives. But one Parasaurolophus was not so fast. It tripped and T-Rex with his knife like teeth went for the neck and tore its head off. After T-Rex finished his dinner he had a rest and then he went looking for his supper. He saw Gasosaurus and thought that it would make a nice meal. T-Rex was quick to attack. Gasosaurus saw him and ran away. T-Trex caught up with him and started to scrape and bite him. Gasosaurus was so weak that he fell to the ground. T-Rex ate his supper. It was now night time but T-Rex still wasn't satisfied. It wanted another snack. There was still some meat left on the bones of his last few kills so he picked those clean.

A Monster in the Attic

I went downstairs to the fridge to get a midnight snack. I got a glass of milk, a ham sandwich and some crisps. I finished my snack and went back to bed. I fell fast asleep. Then I started to have a terrible dream. I could hear a terrible growling noise in the attic. I was really scared but I wanted to go and see what was making the noise. I went to get a ladder. It fell on the ground accidentally and made a lot of noise. The monster who was making the growling noise heard it. My heart was beating quickly. I still wanted to see what was in the attic so I climbed up and slowly opened the door. I peeped in and then the monster grabbed me. It was then that I woke up from my dream.

The Monster Under My Bed

One night when the moon was full I was wakened by a scratching noise. The noise was coming from under my bed. There was a stick beside my bed so I grabbed it and hit out at whatever was under the bed. I seemed to hit it on the head. I dropped the stick and started to run. I looked behind me and I saw something coming after me. It was big and I didn't like the look of it. It had long hair and its eyes were closed. I ran downstairs and into the kitchen but it followed me. It walked to the fridge, opened it and started throwing things on the floor. Then it went to a press, opened it and started throwing more things on the floor. There was a big mess. I wanted to run away but I was afraid that it might see me. Next it went to the bin and emptied it out on the floor. Then it saw me and called out my name. "What are you doing here Keith", it said. It was only my dad looking for his glasses.
