GUIDELINES FOR INFANTS

We would like to welcome the new entrants to our school. We realise that this is a huge step in a child's life and we do our best to help the children settle into their new surroundings as quickly as possible. To do this successfully we need your help and co-operation. If your child has a problem you wish to discuss with us or a question to ask, please feel free to do so.

You may find the following guidelines helpful:
Admission forms for new entrants are available in the school from Easter onwards. These should be returned to the office with the child's birth certificate.
On these admission forms your consent is required for various school events your child may partake in during their school years e.g. vaccinations, tours etc.
The Junior Infant school day starts at the usual time of 9:30 a.m. and home-time is at 2:10 p.m. However for the first fortnight or so the Junior Infants go home at 12:10 p.m. Prompt collection of the children at 2:10 is appreciated. Bus children will be supervised until 3:10 p.m. by class teacher.
