Eastpoint TTC The club also has three of Ireland's top Cadets. Sean Givernaud is no 3 in Ireland. Andrew Boland and Brian Farrell are joint 5. All the players have played consistently well in tournaments this season and have plenty of potential to improve more. Strong links have been forged with ALSAA Table-tennis Club. Players practice together and during the summer the clubs took part in the Global Youth Table-tennis Championships in Karlsborg , Sweden. At the Championships Eastpoint TTC team of Sean, Brian and Diarmuid O'Connor ( on loan from ALSAA ) got to the Q-Fs beating teams from Iceland, Netherlands and Luxembourg. In the Individuals John Murphy from ALSAA got to the B final where he lost to a Belarus player. Congrats to Conor Nolan from ALSAA who is No.2 in Ireland this season. There is a bright future for the club with our U-10 squad coming on very well. Joe Lamon looks after these budding stars Andrew Holohan, Gavin Maguire, Cormac Golden and Matthew Smyth all trains hard at the club. Good luck to our Leinster League team this season.
