St. Olaf's have had a long and distinguished tradition of participation in Gaelic Games, mostly under the umbrella of Cumann na mBunscol Ath Cliath ( www.gaa.ie/cnmb ).We first entered teams in football and hurling competitions in 1980 and contested our first final in 1982 when losing to Haddington Road by 1-2 to 0-1 in the Corn Clonmore which was played in Croke Park.
Since then we have contested numerous finals in both hurling & Football and have won the Corn Clonmore, Corn Frank Cahill, Corn Fianna Fail and the Corn Johnson Mooney & O'Brien at various stages in our history.
We would like to acknowledge the tremendous co-operation & assistance we receive from Naomh Olaf GAA Club (notably Mr. Andy Gibbons now retired ) and from the Leinster Council Coaches( Pat Stephens, Chris Cunningham and Austin Lynch)) in our promotion of Gaelic Games.
We currently enter boys & girls teams annually in Cumann na mBunscol competitions in both hurling / camogie & football as well as participating in the INTO Mini-7s, where Rachel Kavanagh, and Conor Murphy have represented St. Olaf's during half-time games at the At the All- Ireland Finals and Semi-finals.
