The school was built in 1971. There are a lot of teachers. Mrs. Howley is our principal. I am in 6th class. My teacher name is Mrs. Howley. There are a lot of after school classes and extra curricular activities for us to do, like computers, French, pottery, speech and drama, Irish music. John Dundon does a lot of work around the school. We have many sports at break time. I do French classes after school. Our class has p.e. and art on Friday. We enter a lot of competitions especially the Siobhan Mckenna. There are 150 students in the school. I am here since first class, i think this is a very good school to go to. We have a field for playing football and six areas for sport.

Our normal subjects are maths, Irish, geography, history and English. We got into the county schools final in 1998. We won the Olympic handball out of Galway. We are involved in an e.u. Project. Our front yard is very big. Dana came to our school 1998. During the Easter holidays in 1998 we got a new court. Mrs Howley became principal in September 1997. The first and last principal we had retired. His name was Mr. Martin Keane. I came to this school when I was 7. We have a party every Halloween, Christmas, Easter and the end of the year.We make a yearly magazine that sixth class make and all the other class [including 6^th class] made pictures for the mag.
