emerged from the county semi final when a strong
finish ensures that they prevailed against a
gallent Eire Og team. A
shane Cauldwell goal ensured that Strokestown
enjoyed a 1-5 to 0-3 advantage at the break. Eire
Og mage a whirlwind start to the second half
with two goals from Michael Creighton. With 10
minutes remaining Strokestown made a late surge
and with Cauldwell finishing emphatically to the
net, the Black and Amber qualified to meet St

lads may not have played up th their potential
in this clash, but you can only win a match and
thats what counts. Morgen Bierne and Mark Fallon
were best for Strokestown, with Shane scoring
two very important goals. We
take on St. Aidans in th final on Sunday, we
know this will be a tough match with Aidans
being a tough team and well up for the
challenge. However if we play to our ability
no-one will stop us. Watch
