T he Clareen Pearl Tenor Banjo (23 inches/585mm - 19 frets) is a beautifully designed banjo, with an excellent quality tone. The air/kiln-dried well selected maple neck consists of two pieces with reinforcing decorative veneers through the middle. It comes with a rosewood peghead, with matching heel cap.

The finger board of rosewood is inlaid with specially designed Mother of Pearl inlays and has tortoise shell banding on the side with position dots fitted.

The three ply maplle rim is capped on the bottom with rosewood and is fitted with a specially manufactured Clareen Bronze Arch Top Tone Ring. Individual 'L' shaped shoes and 'Butterfly' flanges fitted.

The maple resonator is fitted top and bottom with "tortoise"shell banding.

All metal parts are brass-nickel plated. The tension hooks are of mild steel-nickel plated. The banjo comes complete with Schaller tuners, arm-rest, and is available in other woods and designs to special order. Case extra.
