British Goldwing Treffen 2003.

The 2003 British Goldwing Treffen was held in Kelso, Scotland from August 20th.-25th. The weather was brilliant this year and there was a big attendance as usual. I took a lot of pictures this year to make up for not attending last years event!

Welcome to Kelso! Just after we arrived on the Thursday. Young Dylan (seen here propping up the Kelso sign) actually rode pillion with me for the whole 300 miles. We had a car in tow (driven by my girlfriend Fiona) and after we stopped for food half-way I offered him the chance to go in the car, but he wouldn't hear of it. He travelled the whole way back on the bike as well.

The white GL1800 (second from left) isn't a Japanese spec machine like I thought at first, this one was resprayed really well.

Dylan and myself doing the early morning rounds, left.

These two GL1800's were resprayed in the paint that changes hue in different light. These shots show them change as I took pictures from different angles. The owners of these two lovely machines pictured here as well.

The Thunderbirds GL1800 on far left was an unusual change from the usual girlie artwork. Dubliner Mick Wilson doing his Cossack impression and in the picture just on the left with his wife Ann on their GL1500SE. Also, Dylan trying on his new bikers jacket. He actually fitted into one perfectly this year.

Doing the annual fitting of accessories to the Goldwing.

The previous pictures are from the Saturday Parade of Nations.

These shots from the Light Show on Friday evening.

Some shots from the town of Kelso.

From here down the page are various shots of people from different countries, including Ireland.

On the ferry on the way home, the lads having a drinking competition.
