Guidelines for submitting photo's to these web pages.
1. Your scanned photo's or
ones from digital cameras should be saved as Jpegs
only before being sent to me as e-mail attachments. A description with the
picture will be very helpful. Pictures do not have to be Goldwing related to
appear on my web pages, any motorcycle or indeed any of your favourite pictures
can be sent.
2. Each picture file size
should not exceed 100kbs and several picture files should total no more than 1
megabyte. This is important because my server will filter out messages over
1mb in order not to block up my mailbox with large messages that hold up everyone
else. Needless to say, I will not even be aware of your message if it is
filtered out.
I will contact you fairly quickly after I receive your picture(s) and let you know what page they are on. I will resize all pictures to around 50kbs as this makes them quicker to download for visitors when they click the thumbnail version. In practice, a 50kb picture on a web page will look just as good as one twice the size.
