Geraldine Gallagher lives on the South West coast of Ireland near Bantry Bay.  She plays various instruments including uillean pipes, flute, fiddle, guitar, keyboards and she also sings.  Geraldine composes music and used to be a member of the band 'Suifínn' who brought out two albums and toured Ireland and Denmark many times and also supported the Chieftains, Planxty and Moving Hearts.

Last year she completed a solo album called 'Solitude' which she composed, played and produced.

Geraldine has now teamed up with producer and songwriter Andy Reynolds, also based in the Bantry Bay area, and they are busy co-writing, recording and producing a new album which by all accounts is sounding very interesting, mixing old and new technology and recording the pipes, whistles, fiddles and synths in a digital melting pot of Celtic/European influences.  Sometimes with just a simple guitar backing or a haunting string section and sometimes with driving drums and modern loops and groove, the album is promising to be very entertaining and sure to please their audience both in Ireland and throughout the world.

You can hear downloadable MP3s of some of the work in progress from the MP3 site.  These are not finished mixes, but Geraldine and Andy hope that you will find these pre-release tunes an interesting taste of the final album.
