Navy Swell Predictions |
This site gives a full picture of where in the world the
swells are going to be. You have a good idea from this site weather of not you made the
right decision on coming to Ireland or even living in Ireland. |
Divide the swell size by 3 for the south coast of Ireland
and divide by 2 for the west coast. |
Bouys
for around Ireland |
These have got to be the best way to check the surf. Simply pick the bouy you want and
thats it. A go idea is to use the FNOC (above) to get the swell direction and then use
these real-time figures for the swell heights. |
None, this is just the thing, even the Hawiians use the bouys. |
UK Weather |
Essential for predicting those winds, and in Ireland the
wind is a big issue |
Make sure you know where the is coming from as the other
side of the head could be offshore. |

Great little place for checking out the winds. The loop is
great for showing a 6 day movie of what the low pressures are up to. This will reguire a
JavaScript enabled browser(IE 4/5, Navigator 4+). |
